Royal Milestone: King Charles Celebrates 50 Years of Impact at Star-Studded Golden Jubilee
King Charles III and Queen Camilla recently led a momentous celebration at London’s Royal Albert Hall to mark the 50th anniversary of The King’s Trust.
A Star-Studded Night of Recognition
The anniversary event, titled "A King’s Trust Celebration," was hosted by the iconic duo Ant and Dec and featured a guest list of global superstars and longtime ambassadors.
A-List Attendance: The red carpet saw appearances from George and Amal Clooney, Sir Idris Elba, Sir Rod Stewart, Rita Ora, and Benedict Cumberbatch.
Musical Highlights: Guests enjoyed performances from a lineup including Jools Holland, Ronnie Wood, and Craig David, all coming together to honor the Trust’s work in education and employment.
Emotional Tributes: The King expressed deep pride in the organization’s longevity, noting that while it was "difficult to get it off the ground" in 1976, seeing its growth into a global force for good has been a "wonderfully proud" experience.
A Legacy Worth Billions
Beyond individual stories, the Trust released a landmark social impact report to coincide with the jubilee.
The celebrations are set to continue later this week with a Royal Garden Party at Buckingham Palace on May 14th, where more volunteers and alumni will be recognized for their contributions to the Trust’s enduring success.
